Overview:
Virtual machine management add-on for Kubernetes that enables running VMs alongside containers. Started in 2016 to provide virtualization capabilities through Kubernetes custom resources.
Use Case:
Lightweight virtual machine management for Kubernetes. Allows to roll out VMs in a Kubernetes-native way using custom resources. Great solution if OpenStack, SCS or Yaook would be overkill, but VMs should be provided and managed in a Kubernetes cluster.
